Out of the box, the 10″ Electric String Trimmer worked very well. The Operator’s Manual, however, contains imprecise instructions and diagrams that are so small as to be nearly useless. When the cutting line broke and I turned to the Operator’s Manual, I found that the sections on “Spool Replacement and Recovery of Broken Line” and on “Replacing Line on Spool” were not clear: they did not identify the specific parts and the diagrams illustrating these procedures were very small. The Customer Service people promptly mailed replacement parts to me, at no charge — high marks to them — but the Operator’s Manual is not at all helpful.
